I think they tried a little too hard to make this more serious and ended up dulling it down.

Pale straw colored, bright green apple and pear flavors with some minerally herbal notes and a lightly spicy finish. Nice

in a great place, lots of acid, white fruit and grip, light gold color, honeysuckle maybe even hints at butterscotch on nose

Pleasant, fresh, citrus, tropical fruit, the coating of residual sugar rounds it off but also makes it soft and easy, shortish finish. Simple, lacks typicity.

Refreshing lime with pear and a hint of minerality. Long finish, great acidity.

Intense lime green color. Ripe, fruity nose more typical of Portuguese Alvarinhos than often more austere Galician Albariños; aromas of sweet apple, honeydew melon, florals, sweet lemony citrus fruits and a rich undertone of exotic fruits. The wine is rather full-bodied and ripe in the mouth, but crisp and bone-dry as well. Rich flavors of fresh Granny Smith apple, steely minerality, sweet notes of cantaloupe, a little mango-driven exotic fruit and hints of aromatic herbs. Bracing acidity gives the wine …

Raisonnable.

This is a fairly light, dry, and quite refreshing Albariño with a nice mix of zesty if not terribly pronounced fruit flavours, including pear, peach, mango, pineapple, and lemon, along with some streaky minerality that keeps the whole thing focused. The tartness ultimately gives way to a lingering bitterness on the finish, but the length is short and so the result isn't so much unpleasantness as a cleansed palette. While I don't usually assign specific foods to wine, this is …

This was lacking the racey acidity that I look for in an Albarino. It did have a bit of a yeast character as a previous reviewer eluded to. Overall it went down fine, but I've had better for less $.

Fruity and without character. Misses the freshness and minerality of an Albariño.

Pale lemon. Medium(-) aromas of apple, lemon and sea spray. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium(-) body. Medium(-) flavors of apples, lemon, chalk, and again a fresh saltiness. Fresh texture with solid bite, good length with cutting finish. Elegant and pleasant small wine. Will do well as aperitif.

Not too floral like many albarinos, but plenty of pear and apples. This was bright, but not overly acidic.

A rip yellow golden color, good mouthfeel, fresh, bright, uncomplicated but with enough substance: a pleasure to drink.

Not flawed but definately beyond it's best days. Slightly floral nose but more developed neutral white wine. Some acid in the mouth but comes across as slightly flat on the finish. Probably was a nicer wine a year ago. It was as a BTG at the restaurant, closeout time?

No nose to speak of. Mouth very flat, one could argue about "pleasant acidity". Very mediocre albariño.

Blind Tasting 2010 Sancerres and Pouilly Fumes (Rich & Peggy's House, Los Altos, CA) : Ripe lemon and beeswax nose. Light to medium body with low to medium acidity. Ripe lemon, fresh cut flowers, just a touch green. Not very albarino-y, I guessed Loire Chenin Blanc.

Medium bodied, medium straw to light golden color. Classic aromas and flavors of peaches, crisp apple, and lots of terroir driven minerality. Plenty of acidity; a little different, but very good. Average finish.

Good and a bit out in left field albariño, shows personality but lacks fruit. Don't know, there is something which did not convince me, cannot say what in detail. As I said: good, but not catching and too expensive for this performance...
