Let it open for at least one hour;

May need a bit more age; very tight upon opening; will try again one day later to see if it has mellowed.

decanted 6 hours prior to a blind barbaresco tasting.....this wine scored 91+ blind and was as good if not better than several single vineyard bottles from Produttori di Barbaresco....the wine is still extremely young and for practical purposes should lay low for 3 to 4 more years......the nose was full of cherry/strawberry notes with a hint of floral...good fruit and long finish.....just a solid wine...that can age for 15 years
