Loved this… crisp acidity, controlled oak influence, lemon and lemon curd dominate the nose and attack but the mid-palate opens up nicely with som stone fruit and pear notes. Mineral undertones throughout. Lovely, long finish.

Another beautiful bottle of this wine from this still under-appreciated family domaine. 4th bottle from a case purchased on release. Pale yellow in the glass. Minerals and acidity abound underneath bright lemon and citrus pith supported by pear and apple in the mid-palate. Long saline finish. More densely flavored than the color implies. Lemonyellow, medium. Developed(+), medium intensity aromas. Integrated oak, lemon, honey melon, butter. And after a while, sweet spices. Dry, medium(+) nicely wrapped acidity. Medium(+) body, thick and agile. 13%. Flavours of pineapple, lemon, neutral oak, mango, butter. Mouthcoating fruity. Long somewhat drying aftertaste, almost a bit coarse, with butter. Determined character. Overall impression towards elegance. (In its youth, too much oak for our taste. Now, integrated and pleasant.)

Tasted with 2 members of the Thibert family in NJ both before and with dinner. This also was quite tightly wound and in need of age and air. It has a light to medium color which belied its depth of flavor and texture. Excellent. Pale yellow in color. Buttery in flavor without any sense of manipulation. Rich in body and bursting with flowers and honeysuckle on the palate. Very best showing to date. Sadly it is my last bottle of the vintage.

Didn't get the mineral character I was hoping to find in this, but I did enjoy it for its well-focused apple and pear fruit. Has good breadth and power, so I can somewhat understand the Corton-Charlemagne comparisons.

Drank over three days. I thought it was excellent and showing a lot of positive development from earlier bottles. It drank best at 56 degrees. Nose of honeysuckle and bramble; taste of citrus, light peat and stone. Really nice value for a complex white.

Popped and poured, light yellow-gold. Pretty aromas, with citrus-tinged florals of lemon zest and jasmine complimented by stone fruits, oak, a subtle peat quality and an impression of saline minerals. Medium body, moderate acidity. Rich and almost sumptuous, with flavors very much mirroring the nose along with notes of ripe apple and minerals which seem even brinier on the lingering close. This is in a really nice place and should hold well for at least few more years.

I won this in a mixed auction lot, and this was the wine I cared about the least in the lot. At least the wine's in good shape, and I suppose that when an oaky white Burg is called for, one could do quite worse. Almost a year since last bottle and already improving. Recommend waiting 45 mins after opening before serving. The once hydrogen peroxide vibe is gone and is now a vibrant minerality balanced on a point of bright fruits, with citrus at the apex of the subnotes. For us a food, not a sipping wine, at least in this drinking phase.

This started out a little fizzy, but then resolved quite a bit as it warmed into a mouthful of lemon, butter with hints of charcoal. Very nice with homemade clam chowder and then just to sip the evening away. 11 days later - Kept this vacuum sealed in the fridge and finished it up tonight. The taste was much more complex and buttery suggesting that further cellaring might be a benefit. Very enjoyable!!

Popped and poured. Light straw-gold. Intriguing nose of lemon zest, lime juice, honeysuckle, soapstone, minerals and a touch of buttery oak. Moderate-light body. This white has a beautiful, abundant bouquet of stone, hints of apple and citrus. On the palate I did not pick up as much fruit as on the nose. I picked up nuances of limestone and steel. Well balanced. Additional comment: we tried this after drinking three cabs (just the way it turned out) ... so not a fair tasting. I am looking forward to trying it again.
