Still really enjoy this after a few weeks of drinking (plenty of) other juice(s). Consistent with previous note but feeling more descriptive this evening. Light nose, some citrus and apple. On palate, the acid is electric so make sure to serve this well chilled. In one sentence, this wine is what I imagine granny smith apple juice would taste like if it were diluted slightly, then treated with a dash of olive juice and muddled with lemon peel and some …

Nose: very tight and very little smell, basically nothing. Weird. Taste: medium body, dry. Quite savory profile: unripe melon, green olive and olive oil dominate the profile. Slight sea salt/briny taste, with a hint of stone. Much better as a sipper: clean and smooth. Could work in place of a prosecco as an aperitif. Refreshing but must be served on its own (gets lost with food). 81.

This wine has a rounder mouth feel than most sav blanc or gruner, which are similar in acidity and body. Apples and herbs. A super herbal white. Amazing partner to a duck papardelle dish with herbs and Parmesan. Would happily drink again.

Purchased at the cooperative in Barolo on 6/15. Fairly herbaceous nose and palate. Very good acidity, taut, focused. A food wine for lighter fare.
