Nose of creme fraiche, butter, and spring onion. Palate is medium-bodied, with firm acidity and a touch of oil. Mild flavours of apple and onion. Nice texture, but most of the flavour has faded away.

Should be laws about putting the 'reserve' moniker on a wine that sells for mid teens. No such problem in the Land of Smiles where this baby will set you back $30. Anyway, not too bad and certainly better the second night after looking decidedly lean and a bit tired. Citrus, sinewy (not taunt though) and faint nuts back palate. very light colour with greenish reflexes. nose: quite sweet and robust with caramel notes. taste: bit high acidity and astonishingly light body. Fresh with lemon in the finish. bit ascetic.
