Ripe blackberry and cassis right out of the gate, with mocha, vanilla, and a little toasted oak swagger following close behind. Full-bodied, smooth, and unapologetically bold, but still keeps it together with just enough structure to feel serious. Paso doing what Paso does best: big flavor, no overthinking required. Not subtle. Also not sorry. 90 pts

Classic cabernet nose. Starts slight sweet on the pallet, but it's not the jammy sugar bomb that seems to be the new hallmark of the "new Passo" style. Nicely balanced. Blackberry predominates, and not a lot more. One dimensional but solid.Would be a good everyday red if you catch it on sale. Decent QPR at ~$25.

Pleasant aromas of sweet cherries and chocolate. Tastes like chocolate covered cherries but not sweet with hints of cranberries. Medium bodied, chewy tannins. 3,20,7,3,4;50=90

Nice wine for the price. Medium body, slight sharp taste on first day which smoothed out some the second day.

Mostly meh. Deeper purple than I would expect and earthy notes in the taste that are not unwelcome. As it only needs to be 75% Cabernet, I wonder the % of Zin or warm site Syrah in it. Not unpleasant but not memorable either.

Fruity, dry, but smooth. A touch sour. Would not buy again at $18. Buy if on sale.

Light ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of cassis, cherry, chocolate, oak, plum, smoke, strawberry, and vanilla. Full-bodied, with heavy tannins and medium acidity. Bold and beautiful on the palate, with a deep, lingering finish.

Elegant medium-ruby-purple, full body Cabernet Sauvignon, viscous @14.8% abv. Aromas of baked red fruit, black fruit, toast, earth. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium tannin, medium(+)-high alcohol. Palate of blackberry pie, cedar, blueberry juice. Lush texture, linear, likeable with good length fruit-driven finish.

Full, plush, round and spicy Cab. The nose is a big New World expression of currant and earth. On day 2 it had thinned out significantly.

Söt, koncentrerad bomb av torkad frukt. Ytterst obalanserad.

I would agree with the three comments below, jam, acidic, great for opening enjoying and nothing that is show stopper.

Very nice. Not overly dry or overpowering. Good with lighter fare than most Cabs but with still a good oak so I wouldn’t call it fruit forward either.

Ruby color. Dried cherry and brown spice aromas. Cherry and vanilla flavors lead to med body and finish. Solid wine that should be consumed now.

The swirling wine in my glass showed lots of legs; not especially dark, at most a medium red; nice nose, full bodied, very fruit forward, taste of luscious blackberries, or maybe boysenberries, also plums and peaches, nice balance between fruit & tannins; pleasant finish has fresh roasted almonds in it

A bit too fruity for my taste. Lacking the lingering dry finish I prefer in a good cab. If you're looking for a tasty table wine this would be a good choice but there are plenty of other options for less cost.

Dry and woody. An earthy early palate with an alcohol mid palate and dry currant finish.

Speaking of reviews... A bottle of this was on the table at a friends house. Initial impression is that this is a good Cab Sauv, and at $15/bottle, decent QPR. Ok, its a 2013 - its YOUNG. But its drinkable now, with mellow tannins. Not sure it has the structure to lay down for a decade, so drink it now and enjoy. Color - nice clear dark garnet Nose - lots of fruit, picking out blueberry and some roasted red …

Good earthy nose. Smooth tannins. Straight-forward with limited complexity. Will open up more with longer decanting.
