P. Dubreuil-Fontaine Père & Fils Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Vergelesses

This is really quite lovely stuff; the nose is full of ripe dark fruits, plum cassis, with some underlying floral and mineral notes, definitely seems 2018 with the ripeness of the fruit, but it doesn't seem too ripe or heavy at all on the nose; the palate is full bodied and has some tannic heft behind, but the fruit mostly covers that and while it is quite primary it is quite tasty; its a bigger wine for sure, but still …

Savory raspberry, dried herbs, lively acidity, and a hint of oak. Young, light-bodied, with spice and minerality. Worth a hold, but very enjoyable now with several hours of air.
