Sierra Starr Zinfandel Old Clone Estate

Improved on second and third night. Nice bright jammy fruit but not overly powerful.

Good, but not as great as last bottle. Variation? It contains much of the jammy, bramble fruit we have come to expect from this winery. Just a little less fruit, and a little more smoky-spice on this bottle.

Another solid Starr effort. Just a good old clone Zin from the Sierra's. Alot of Oak on this one compared to past efforts. Not astringent, but a little more dry than Jammy. Still a well made wine and a good QPR. The raspberry jam is well in check on the nose and the palate.
