The Hammer Shiraz

A very intriguing wine, especially the nose, which has lots of tobacco, and just an unusual character unlike any wine I've encountered. On the palate, it's the driest syrah based wine I've ever had (and I've had lots from FRA, CA, AUS, etc.). Flavors of sour cherry dominate on a medium length finish with smoke and tobacco again.
