Last bottle was by far the best. Don’t know if it was the extra bottle age or if it was the relatively warm temperature at which we drank this. Drank with a richness that was lacking in prior bottles.

Pop and pour, there were some caramelly notes on the palate that integrated with about 30 minutes of air. Steely and flinty, good minerality, light golden fruit. A decent chablis.

Stone very apparent now. Dry, medium (+) acid and body and intensity and finish. Medium alcohol (+) C: Balanced, good length and intensity. However, i am lacking descriptive clusters here and so not complex. Very Good Quality wine. Drink up or keep for 5 years. $40 wholesale

White and Red Burgundy (Scott and Amy's House) : I'm surprised to give this a solid 90. Nice golden fruit, somewhat creamy nose and palate. Myself and a friend were convinced there is some new oak in here, even though there supposedly is not.

Surprising tropical fruits - banana, pineapple, melon, to go with pear, apple, salty minerality. Also some lemon pith on the palate. Nice acidity, body. This bottle is a bit oxidized - color is fairly deep and some VA notes.

Jag börjar bli minst sagt tveksam till det här vinet. De första flaskorna var strama, syradrivna men lovande. Nu har de senaste varit väl mogna och vissa haft en tendens ill övermognas och då är det ändå en 1er cru från 2012...

Effusive, full mineral-laden nose has white fruit, seashells, salinity and river water. Medium weight and focused on the palate with a precise and chiseled personality. Juicy tangy acidity provides lift and persistence. This is a classic, fresh Chablis that is giving loads of pleasure in its relative youth.

Dracks samtidgt som Droin Les Clos och var inte i samma klass men den börjar ta sig och är klart drickbar nu. Lite oväntat börjar man redan ana mognadstoner så det känns som resterande flaskor bör konsumeras inom ett eller ett par år.

This is gorgeous Chablis. Good bright fruit with an undercurrent of minerals and a thoughtful frame of oak. Really delicious.

No doubt that this is Chablis, and well-made at that. Yellow orchard fruits balanced by saline and mineral on both nose and palate - very fresh with good balance. Lacks the intensity, complexity and long finish of a Grand Cru Chablis, but this is a great "junior" version; it is interesting, really pleasing and offers amazing value for the quality it offers. My local wine warehouse sells it for $23 / bottle and I plan to buy more.

Ripe and bursting with orchard fruits. It has good shape and volume and plenty of minerality just below the flesh. There is a pleasant scent of honeysuckle once you work some air into the wine and the finish is dry and sappy.

Adding a point for QPR. This is a very good 1er Cru Chablis at a great price point. On bottle 11 of a case and will buy again without a doubt. Nose of matchstick, iodine and herbs. Briny taste with lemon pith and a nice bite. Good minerality and acidity. Really a pleasure; consistent bottle to bottle and no funk - compares extremely well to the other cases of Chablis I have drank this season from other producers (Moreau, Picq) …

Light yellow-gold in the glass; briny "seashore" accents rise from the glass. More open & accessible than the Fourchaume bottling I tried last night; not unduly complex, and better on the nose than the palate, but still a pretty good representation of Chablis at a very fair price.

A light straw yellow. Aromas of hay, herbs, mineral and pineaple. Balanced, reserved, shimmering, alive, nice. A touch of sugarcane, too. Medium bodied, great acid and balance, a beautiful arc across the tongue, great texture, a touch vinous, some sweetness, clean. Good weight and depth as one would expect from a 1er Cru. I suspect a few more years in bottle will round this out. On a personal level, I think Chablis and Chardonnay are beginning to bore me. Great …

Bibendum Public Portfolio Tasting 2014 (Sydney, Australia) : Spice, pear and lemon. Really nicely balanced, shows a class above the standard 2012 Chablis. The fruit is light but it has some depth to it as well. Good length.
