Stunning nose of candied violets and rose petals with cherry and a hint of barnyard. Palate is a bit harder with dark cherry, some oaky spice (clove? nutmeg?), and a mineral tinge. Bitter cherry pit on the long but slightly jumbled finish which I imagine will resolve with some more bottle age. Really nice wine. Very primary at this point. The acidity is nice. Keeps it lighter on its feet. Ripe red fruit. Beautiful texture.
