Opened 20 minutes before drinking. Served to accompany lamb casserole. As per my previous notes, light cherry colour. Lovely young red berry fruits. Dry palate, soft, well balanced. Drinking well now but.no hurry to drink up.

Decanted one hour, served with roast lamb. Light cherry colour. Nose shows canned strawberries, meatiness, forest floor. The palate develops well, quite complex, savoury and fruit in balance. Long finish. A classy wine and enjoyable to drink.

Tasted at Caviste, Hampshire, UK, hosted by owner and winemaker Ray Nadeson. Made using grapes from four plots of similar size. On the nose, light red fruit, slightly sweet. The palate is a lovely balance between fruit and savoury.

The nose was inviting, but that is where it ended. The palate was extremely sour. Green / stalky notes as well. Disappointing.

Light red brick colour. Stale nose with dull prune fruit. “Sour” is the first impression! Light body and overall dull and uninspiring. No worthy fruit. Definitely not my style. One tast is enough - back to the cellar for another choice.
