Nice but very “medium” in terms of body, acidity, fruit (green apple and light citrus) and finish. Well balanced well-made wine but just lacked a bit of depth and complexity.

Classic Oregon Chardonnay i love upon first opening. Buttered popcorn, yet the fruit shines. Palate also singing. However the nose died off quickly (within maybe 1.5hrs) which was a bit disappointing.

never had this type of reduction before, really satisfying, royal, wow. dad says its in the same style of Coche..! quite a bit of matchstick but subtle, smoke, strong salinity - fresh oysters. really lovely nose, very unique. sweet lemon candies, florals, the reductiveness drives the palate as well. almost riesling-like med acidity, seamless. good zesty texture, med alcohol and body. PERFECT pairing with a Turbot (my first attempt, many to come), my best pairing of the year so far. …

Light straw color. Citrus, lemon, and a touch of oak on the nose. Lots of lemon, citrus and cream on the palate. Oregon Chardonnay definitely shows it’s own unique take on Chardonnay very enjoyable.

I had forgotten to add a note. Drank with friends back-to-back with two other chards from very different terroirs. This was the WOTD for most of the group, though not for me. The consensus middle was a 2019 Whitcraft La Rinconada Sta. Rita Hills. My preferred wine was a 2019 Pattes Loup Chablis Vent d’Agne Mise Tardive. I thought this lacked some concentration in comparison. Bumping a point because others loved it. Maybe it would have benefitted from more time …

Limpid pale golden yellow. Smelled watermelon rind, lemon, green apple, and a faint bit of cheese; tasted lemon curd. Elegant and medium-light in mouthfeel, fine balance. Medium citrus finish. Excellent.
