(Genius in Gastronomy tasting room) Clear mid ruby color. Clean in the nose with medium+ intensity, aromas of red fruits with sweet spices, earthy, leather notes and bits of caramel. Youthful Dry in the palate, medium body, medium intensity, medium alcohol (13.50%), medium acidity, medium tannins but velvety, buttery with red cherries, nutmeg, sweet oak, balanced with mid finish. Good wine, mid/high price, drink now. (expected more from this though)

Blended with 6% Merlot and 5% Syrah. Lovely red & black fruits, meaty, earthy and wood aromatics. Full-bodied with nice aroma replays. Mouth-watering acidity and a long, smooth finish. Shows great balance with nicely integrated tannins. Could be aged 2 years, but is definitely (very) enjoyable now! Highly recommended.

Dark red color. Aromas of meat and black fruits with some greenery. Flavors of meat, coffee, mocha, and touch of green complexity. Dusty finish with no one flavor dominating. $17.99 OH retail www.austinbeeman.com

Very nice wine for sub $10. Ripe fruit upfront with some spice, medium body and smooth ripe finish - very balanced. Will buy again.
