Waited way too long to drink this wine. If you still have some good luck.

Really didn't care for this at all. Flat and boring; out of balance and uninspiring.

Nose of strawberry and cranberry, with a bit of a savory element. The palate features strawberries and red raspberries on the initial attack, but then has an empty midpalate and a somewhat off finish.

Raspberries, savory herbs. The alcohol is high.

Out of balance and lacking midpalate. Very dry and not very appealing. Not recommended.

Bright, clear, garnet in the glass with notes of raspberries and herbs. Nice.

Loved this! Seemed as if it was made to go with the Mussels in Saffron Tomato Broth dish I made (i.e. beginner's Bouillabaisse). A beautiful bright ruby color, this rose smelled of flower petals and something earthier I couldn't put my finger on. The body was light and vibrant, with a cranberry-like juiciness and finish. Fantastic wine and one I'd easily buy & drink again.

Really nice wine. Much more full bodied than I expected with prominent notes of strawberries and sour cherries and a medium length finish.

Note from day 3. Fragrant nose of strawberry and a little blueberry mashed in a bed of rose petals. Flavors of slightly unripe watermelon, some sour cherry a hint of pencil shavings and cedar towards the finish.

Clear, brilliant, bright vibrant dark rose color. Medium concentration and viscocity. NOSE: rose petals, granite, strawberry, rose water, raspberry, banana; PALATE: strawberry, cherry, granite, wet rock, rose petals. Definitely grenache in this one.

This is a very dark rose. It looks like a light pinot almost. Strawberry and raspberry fruits with a little bit of mineral/stone on the dry finish. A nice wine for a hot summer.

Cherry red to pink. Red berry nose with strawberries and raspberries - perhaps some peach. Also giving aniseed, fresh herbs and a hint of liquorice. Dry and rather full-bodied with mid-level acidity. Slightly estery red-to-yellow fruit, nice mineral expression and a hint of leather before the lengthy finish. The alcohol comes through a bit - but in the right temperature (at about 12°C the the wine seems pretty nice) it doesn't bother. A nice Tavel that should improve for a …

A big rose with strawberry, red raspberry and maybe even watermelon. A great dry summer wine.

Otto nailed it, I think. More concentrated than I was expecting, but certainly nothing off-putting, either. The Grenache component is quite tangy and savoury. Medium + finish is clean and satisfying. I would have preferred a bit more acidity though. Drink thru 2011.

Very serious rose. Something that I think could even manage a little bottle age. Would go great with summer grill. Great acidity and strawberry flavors.

An excellent rose. Probably the best I have had (along with the Mordoree). Will get more for the remainder of the summer.

Very intense color for a rose, medium minus ruby pink. The aromas are pretty intense but not much other than red berries especially sweet strawberry. On the palate the high alcohol is clearly notable but I feel it as part of the wine and style. Maybe some sugar added as well? The intense fruity (berry) style continues on mouth but the length is rather short. Overall a beautifully colored wine with a style ( high alcohol, low acidity, short length) …

Dark pink color, almost ruby. Medium intense nose of strawberry and cherry, vanilla, and cassis. The notes detected on the nose carry through on the palate with an addition of mineral in the medium length finish. A versatile food wine.
