Crisp, Smokey cherry, dusty tannin, full body, astringent finish. Very good value.

Very disappointing. The wine has a decent enough nose suggesting dried dark fruit, but the palate was on the sour side, i.e., too much acid relative to other characteristics. Rather flat tasting in spite of the acidity, a bit of short tannin on the finish. Rather murky in color even though lighter shaded than a nice barbera can be.

Beautiful smelling Barbera. 6 - 9 months in Botti. And lively across the palate. Nothing not to like.

Deep ruby in color, leaning towards garnet; cherries, plums, and oak on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like prunes, tart cherries, and blackberries with a long peppery finish. Nellie didn't like it. I like the intensity, but it is a little off balance, but still enjoyable.

Deep ruby color; plum, blackberries, herbs, and oak on the nose; high acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like raisins, cherries, and gravel with a moderate finish. Nellie says the after taste is too oaky, but it was better without food. I think it's a little off balance, but not bad. It was even better after some aeration.

For me, this tastes like classic barbera at a reasonable price. Classic barbera to me tastes like concentrated, tart bramble fruit with a little spice. A light touch of oaky vanilla works well.

Juicy, easy does it Barbera. Has some nice complexity and holds itself well.

Ripe and tart babera fruit. And all there, works as it goes.
