{375ml, screwcap, 13.2%} a bit more of a considered look after the last experience. Mid/dark gold colour. Honeyed pear nose, somewhat advanced. Hardly luxurious though. The palate is actually quite translucent now, fresh, but with soft acidity. Honey, pear and vanilla are the main flavours here. Trouble is, the finish fades quickly, in a hollowed out way; the vanilla bean is quite pronounced but not terribly interesting, honey flavours fade to dry and dusty fairly quickly. In the end its …

{375ml, screwcap, 13.2%} Deep yellow. Mild, aged nose of vanilla bean and gentle pear. Rather thin, metallic palate with those same flavours, soft acidity, and faded sweetness with a very short finish. Well on the downslope of interest now.

NobleRottersSydney - Canberra Trip Sep07 (Canberra wineries & Mezzalira restaurant) : {375ml, screwcap, 13.2%, A$20} This is a gentler attempt at a dessert wine. Still yellow-green in colour, it has youthful aromas of pears and lychees. Medium-dry (ie. about half-way along the sweetness spectrum; I wish there was a logical way to describe sweetness), the medium acid and light-medium body offset the gentle fruits harmoniously.
