Maison Alex Gambal Chassagne-Montrachet

Unexpected delight. Full of oak, vanilla, honey, peach and smoke nose, with strong tannin and structure. Quite approachable as it shows the quality maybe in half an hour but stays solid after that. Pleasant complexity in nose doesn�t go away all along, though the palate�s a little too simple and monotone. But proper acidity keeps this so attractive. Nice quality!
