Mineral nose with a hint of SO2 - excellent sense of layering. In the mouth the wine continues its layered feel with a hint of beeswax and bright acid which cuts the lush balance of fruit. This is aging nicely but is still quite young. Medium-dry sweetness. Quite Alsatian in style. 86+ - certainly has upside potential.

reticent nose, some so2 and a hint of minerality. Dry and tight in the mouth with a nice savory mid-palate that has good definition and authority. Lingers well. This is very nice wine that needs a few years but should repay cellaring.
