Opened because I was curious. I've tasted young vintage ports before, but this one was an absolute monster. Huge nose of prunes and black fruit after 12 hours in the decanter, along with high alcohol tones. Nice sweetness to it. Evolved over the next four days, got better integrated and slightly mellowed out. Still a blockbuster and difficult to approach, though.
