Unbridled American. Butter, orange confit, but nice acidity as well. Rich, but not clumpsy, quite nice balance. Mature. #Kandestederne

Dark golden brown color, butter and caramel. Still oaky but not an oak monster.

I’ve never had a California chard this old (12 years). The butter and acid had faded such that it was just warm and casual in the mouth. Was bright in the glass, was not “too old” at all. I will be trying more A) old California chards and B) more old pine ridge

Starting to roll over but still vibrant and fruity, not showing any oxidation but maturing in it's flavors into cooked fruits and warm wood.

I liked this but it is less full and more austere than I thought. It is better around 50 degrees - not good at all warmer. Golden yellow in color, light nose, light fruit, full taste

Restaurant BTG purchase. Clear, medium lemon color. Developing aromatics with medium plus aromas of peach, melon, apple, butter, vanilla, and some spicy oak. Good mix of primary and some secondary development. Dry on the palate. Medium flavors of ripe peach, juicy melon, spicy apple, butter cream, and buttered toast. Medium alcohol and medium body. Acidity is medium leading to a medium finish, this is a very good wine with a range of developing complexity, and nice balance. I would liked …

Served with chicken and artichoke hearts in madeira sauce, rice, and salad. PNP. Clear yellow, with lemon and peach nose. Oak and acid predominate on initial taste, followed by citrus. Finish is a bit bitter. The whole impression is that it is unbalanced. Overpriced for what it is. Unfortunate as we like Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier. Afterword: after an hour of air, the wine softened a bit - the oak/acid was less overwhelming. We still aren't prepared to …

Really disappointing. Probably only the 2nd wine from Last Bottle that I ever truly didn't like. Very little of anything to identify as Chardonnay. Overwhelmingly oaky and astringent at the same time. Should be called Pine Tar. Not trying to be overly critical, but this is rubbish.

This has nice balance, yet the acidity is a bit sharp. This is my first-ever Pine Ridge Chardonnay. I'm a bit disappointed as the acidity is somewhat off-putting. Subdued tropical fruits. It was on sale at $21, but probably wouldn't buy again. Doc90's description is accurate. Yes, it would pair nicely with fresh seafood.

Balanced nose of lemon zest, white tea, and butter. Fleshy, sweet, juicy. Great zinging acidity. Not that deep, but has a nice lingering finish prolonged by the solid acidity. Paired very well with king crab legs.

This is crisp, not Chablis clean, but good for Napa. I get lemon, pear, tart apples, a hint of butter (but minimal in the background). Vibrant acidity on the tart finish that turns creamy at the very end. Nice.

Consumed over ~1 hour, too cold at first, but warming to room temperature in the glass. Lacking when compared to our previous bottle 6 months ago. This was creamy and buttery, with not enough mild pear fruit or acid to balance it out. Feel free to mentally add a few points if you like CA-style buttery chardonnay, but I found this disappointing. 83-84.

Consumed over 1 1/2 hours. Dense, with tart apple/pear fruit and a sense of steeliness. Good acid with maybe a little heat at the end. Well enough made, but not especially elegant or complex.
