Definitely different, in a good way. Good black fruit, white pepper from the Syrah, sharp umph from the Tempranillo, all around excellent wine.

Half Texas Temp and half WA Syrah. A gimmick, perhaps, but I wish every gimmick were this delicious. BBQ'd peaches, smoky olives and plums emanate from the glass; there's tang, funk, spice, and char. (I expect critics had a field day with the Texas BBQ metaphors on this one.) Beautiful pepper and olive oil finish, too. A real surprise--this was a Full Pull markdown impulse buy. It's succulent!
