Domaine Philippe Vandelle Trousseau Côtes du Jura

Clear, very light garnet, watery rim, looks older than I might have expected from a wine so young. Clean nose, quite light red fruits, hints of liquorice and violets. Light palate, but quite fine, nicely integrated, fruits dominate. Medium finish. First time I've drunk a wine made with Trousseau and my immediate thought was that it was a cool climate pinot noir. Nice easy drinking, without being anything amazing. Interesting.
