Maldant-Pauvelot Corton-Renardes

Pale ruby colored. In the nose and on the palate dark cherries, ripe blueberries, some smoky bacon, wet earth notes and soft barnyard notes. Medium bodied with a medium acidity. Smooth tannins, already quite nicely integrated. Good depth and structure. Medium (+) complexity. The overall balance is ok. I’m missing some more tension. The finish is savory and medium long.
