If, for some bizarre reason, you still have one, drink up. Not done, but not fresh either, and there's no reason on God' green earth to keep it a day longer.

Drinking perfectly. Still firm but not angular. A little bit of sweetness up front with a pleasant dry finish. Spice, lychee, orange blossom. Bit of mineral on the finish.

Still in its prime, with just a hint of sweetness and lots of fruit.

Floral and spicy with a dizzying array of fruit notes but not at all over the top in gewurz typicity. Super with spicy prawns and togarashi dusted Columbia River King salmon.

Consistent note to previous, though a bit steely on the finish. Absolutely, and unapologetically, bone dry.

Paired with haddock and chipotle butter with black beans and corn. Good match. Balanced, cirtrus (and some melon notes?). Nice.

Citrus and spice in a dry, acid driven wine that is a great accompaniment to all sorts of foods.

Very well-made wine, with an attack of stone fruits, lychee, and mulling spices. Well-integrated acid, and a bone dry, steely finish, which begs for a hint of sweetness, but none is to be found. An excellent QPR in a more refined, light-bodied Gewurtz.

Emphasis on fruit and not sugar. Subtle, orange apricot. What a wonderful way to fill a glass for spicy chicken, thai, or an aperitif

We really enjoyed this wine tonight paired with Indian food. A more muted style of gewurz which is delicious without being distracting. A great wine to introduce this grape to novices. Right now the winery is offering this vintage for $6.80 a case which IMHO is a phenomenal price for the quality of this wine.

Pale straw color, spice on the nose with raisiny overtone. Lemony palate with a hint of the Gewurz spice, very light with plenty of acid to accompany food.

Refreshing. Mixes both some palate weight against some slate, so both kind of show together. Green apple, caramel, dried peach and nectarine and clean.

(from memory) Pale orange, softly perfumed nose of nectar, marmalade and apricot, very dry on the attack with flavors of melon wrapped in a spicy crust, lots of acid making the mid-palate thin, finish is medium length with more spice and orange notes

Clear, pale yellow-green. Peach and Lichee on the nose and palate. Finishes with dry acid. Complemented curried squash soup.

Need some air initially, packed with acidity. Opened to reveal crisp, fresh tropical fruit. Clean and dry. Quite nice with the hericot verts over oven-dried tomatoe tartare.

Color: very clear, hint of yellow-green. Smell: apple, pear, lychee, pineapple, spicy papaya salad, barley. Taste: surprising flavor of butter on the tip of the tongue, apple skin, good soft mouthfeel. Mid-palate brings the acidity, more of that nice richness, minerals, dry and crisp, moves nicely in to the finish, fruit first, acidity and minerals second. This wine demands some nice spicy food, but I had none.

Beautiful wine. Bright tropical fruit and flowers in the nose. Nice stone notes and depth through the middle. The finish is what makes it - the acid is perfect and finishes like a slamming door. All of the sudden no more flowers and fruit and a clean palate. No wonder it's so good with hard-to-pair cuisines! An outstanding QPR as well. Another fantastic, reasonably priced effort from Navarro.

"Buy it" wine on the drinkable/tasty/buy it on sale/buy it paradigm: structure, class, varietal integrity; wonderful lingering finish; what's not to like?

In a blind tasting beat out the '05, as well as several other gewurtz; consensus seems to be that these wines are best young... IAE, delicious stuff, outstanding QPR
