Lovely pale yellow hue. The wine displays brilliant acidity and minerality. The palate is pure and full-bodied with terrific balance and long and elegant finish.

What's this honeyed-dirty-water-colored liquid in my glass? Oh, it's another oxidized white Burgundy.

Drinking really well. Has a whiff of toast to the aroma along with some mint, candied lemon, slate and iodine. The palate is rich and full with a light butteriness. It has excellent intensity and line and finishes with plenty of chalk and salt and a refreshing fruit rind bitterness.

Domaine Perrot-Minot Tasting/Dinner with Some Other Great Burgundy from DNS (The Bristol - Chicago IL) : From magnum. Started out powerful and lush with lots of apple and baked apple, but transformed in 30 seconds to a leaner, classic Chablis with great mineral textures, while still powerful. Best now through 2019.

Steak & Wine (House of Nanda - Chicago IL) : From magnum. Lots of apple throughout, starts fresh and ripe, finishes with edge and energy in a more classically Chablis style with salinity and minerality that I really enjoyed. Upside from here, at least in this format.

Served during a timed blind tasting competition of the Confrerie des Chevaliers de tastevin. Flight 2. Medium yellow. Nose of mint, citrus, honey. Enters the palate medium-light, fresh. Solid but great? The seasoned Burg drinking crowd was surprised how light these 2009 were. Most people guessed 2011.

Has tightened considerably over the past 12 months. Has a fresh aroma of lemon juice and oyster shell. It is rich and layered in the mouth with sappy intensity. It finishes with excellent cut for the vintage.

Gunflint and crushed rocks, lanolin texture and just incredible length on the finish. So savoury, so complex. I wish I had bought a case of this, not just a few bottles.

Youthful, vibrant Chablis showing medium weight with a great smoky nose. The palate shows weight, lemon zest and purity - very pleasing wine. Still has some residual sweetness. (Ma Peche)

A nice blend of elegance and power. On the nose it is flinty with a suggestion oyster shell and shale. It really builds on the palate with s sense of controlled power. It is layered and fans out on the finish.
