Clean nose of white fruit, butter, and herbs. Rich and unctuous on the palate, mouth-coating with excellent structure and a long finish, balanced by medium acidity. Not cheap, but it gives a Burg 1er Cru a run for its money.

First time I had this wine was at Tantris in Munich. The "year after" tasting confirmed the excellent (close to great) perception. The bouquet comes with white peach, salinity and some herbs. On the palate it has a great freshness and good persistence. It's quite long but not tiring at all. Definitely an interesting pirate in a white wine tasting (Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc based wines).

Very golden color....nose is fresh lemon zest, lime rind, salinity, and just plain freshness.. tongue is pear, lime , creamy texture, finishing with fuzzy peach , some mineral.... There’s is an incredible level of complexity in this wine.... First time I have ever had this grape and it’s awesome!! Really stands on its own merits and not to be compared to other varietals...
