Not as complex or deep as I would like, but some nice toasty oak and apple notes. Fine as an aperitif.

An acquired taste, darker than a normal manzanilla, pale gold with a salmon tinge, deep nose with hints of nuts, walnut? in the mouth initially a bit harsh and alcoholic despite its 15%, nutty but little else, left to warm a bit as maybe to cold but it didn't really respond, the wife who is the sherry aficionado was not leaping up down with delight about it either.

Pale amber. All the goodness of La Gitana with an added depth and roundness and dark, nutty accents.

Bright amber colour, dark for a Manzanilla. Nutty, dried citrus, apple, earth and cheese rind nose. Lively and assertive palate, salty, tangy, and drying. Long finish, very good replays. 4/5
