Coffee, dark fruit, graphite and herbs. It's light in feel but possesses richness in flavor along with a real sense of vibrancy that extends through the finish. Amazing from first sip to last.

Good balance on this wine. 14.6% ABV. Blackberry and cherry fruit up front with a fair dollop of oak and earthiness on the back end. Good balance between sugar, acid and oak. This was a crowd pleaser at dinner. Seems like it is just entering its drinking window.

Drink by 2020 in my cellar; 3/1/2020-7/8/2020 : Followed over three nights: Soon settled in to a nice fruit/acid/tannin balance; then became better each night (VV, no chill). All that I could want from a Red Bordeaux Blend at this price range. Drink or hold.

This is both highly approachable and very serviceable: there is nothing not to like in this well balanced blend. A very good QPR as well. Recommended. May not improve, but should hold at this level for a couple of years.

In a word, BOOM! These wines are amazing QPR. This vintage was great for most Washington wines, or many. Lovely blend, Cab, Merlot, with a dribble of Franc. Really in the zone now. Drink up!

Popped and poured into glasses about 1 hour prior to meal. Nice nose, shows the french oak notes well and the dark fruit. Palate starts a little dry with some dark tannins that transition to some good fruit notes. There is some nice, expensive french oak in here that compliments the fruit but is a little overwhelming at this point. Probably popped this too early or didn't decant long enough. If I had another I would wait at least another …

Wow, mocha on the nose. This wine is ready now. Fruit is clean and dark red. The aformentioned cocoa, with some nice, almost barnyard, earthiness. The Washinton wineries are amazing, and still my faves. Drink this for the next 3-4 years.

Nice full-bodied Bordeaux blend with a mix of red and black fruits and deep flavors. Full-bodied and with a nice finish. Can drink now with a brief decant, or hold for another year or so.

P&P. Solid blend, very lush and full of flavor. Nose of cassis and cherry, with leather and earth. Flavors of oak, cassis and black cherry. Finishes with some tasty espresso and cherry fruit. Good stuff!

This wine has a pleasing earthiness which gives a counter balance to the dried red fruit nose. A bit tight upon opening but began to show its nuances after 20 minutes in the glass. The balanced structure of this wine is what I noticed more than anything and which I believe will allow it to cellar for another 7-10 years. But at this price point it is too tasty to lay down that loing.

Drinking even better today. Secondary scents of mushroom and funk. The wine is still a little sweet but way better than it's more storied Napa brethren.

Same notes as before. Really excellent after being pumped and left overnight. Lush black fruit, sweet red fruit, chalky minerals, chassis liqueur, and oak. Drinks at a much higher caliber.

Very smooth with nice polished black fruit, sweet red fruit, chalky minerals, chassis, and oak (not overwhelming). Substantially better on night 2 as it picked up concentration and shed some of the sweetness.

Popped and poured; first of a half-case. Young but delicious; interested to see where these go, but drinking just fine as is. Could stand another year sideways to let the fruit eat a bit more of the oak, but that's just personal preference. Well done.

48/41/11 Cab/Merlot/Cab Franc. Medium nose shows all spice, black plum, graphite, dark chocolate, red plum. Palate is full bodied but ready now, black/red fruits, sweet spice, dried vanilla, black plum, chocolate again, smooth medium tannins. Complexity medium with a medium finish. Solid selection.

Tasted after the Justine, which I found more appealing and more terroir than oak driven. The fruit here is gorgeous but I found it masked by excessive oak treatment. A rock solid wine nonetheless.
