Prior bottle was nearly 11 months ago and my notes remained consistent. White peach, lightly tart apple and mineral notes on the nose. Medium bodied with white apple and pear upfront, evolving to white peach through the middle. Continues to show tropical highlights before the back and then lemon, tart orange, other citrus notes and very good acidity bridge the transition to the finish. Overall, acidity is still a very positive presence here, the fruit continues to show quite well …

Prior bottle was a bit over seven months ago and I wanted to open another bottle on the sooner side to confirm those notes. The wine certainly shows quite well (and should continue to do so for some time), but those notes were confirmed in that it has taken a small step down from its initial heights. Nose is still peach, apple and mineral with white peach being dominant. Medium bodied and like the nose, a similar flavor profile to …

Prior bottle was almost exactly a year ago, but this time, the wine was a small (but noticeable) step down from my prior experiences. Nose remains a mixture of peach, apple and mineral, but more decidedly to the peach side today. Medium bodied and retains the progression of apple and pear upfront and peach through the middle with lemon and other citrus notes on the back. Right at this point, it deviated into a richer, more tropical note that seemed …

Prior bottle was a bit over 13 months ago and this continues to show impressively. Nose remained virtually identical with a mixture of peach and apple, coupled with mineral qualities. Medium bodied with apple and pear upfront, deepening to peach through the middle and then tart citrus notes, lemon and floral/mineral notes on the backside and through the finish. The acidity remains in very good shape, but as I'd hoped, it has integrated with the fruit just a touch. The …

Prior bottle was almost a year ago and the wine remains in virtually the same spot. Opened at 46F, warming to 50F and showed best on the warmer side of that scale. On the colder side, it wasn't immediately evident, but as it warmed, it became quite clear that there was more acidity here than I first thought and it was masking the fruit quite effectively. Peach, apple and stone/mineral notes on the nose. Medium bodied with apple and pear …

Prior bottle was 14 months ago and my notes were quite similar. As expected, this wine is aging slowly and should last for many, many years. Opened at 48F, warming to 52F and initially, I was a little worried as the acidity wasn't as dominant, nor the fruit as expressive as my prior bottle. It just took about 45 minutes or so open to fully recapture my prior impressions. Nose is still a mix of flinty, minerally almond and peach. …

Very aromatic nose of peach, almond and flinty mineral notes. Medium bodied with green apple and peach upfront, backed with lemon and citrus. Finishes with stone, spice and cream notes. The defining note for this wine is its acidity. There's a lot of richness here and plenty of fruit, but the acidity carries it all and then some, providing backbone and balance. The wine is still young and has many years in front of it, but I have to admit …

Delicious, creamy, vibrant young wine. Tempted to go with 94 but will stay with my original assesment. I'm nervously eyeing my supply at this point...

Almond, stone and peach on the nose - very aromatic. Nearly medium bodied and just a stunningly beautiful young riesling. Peach and green apple upfront, backed by lemon and citrus. Finishes with almond, stone, spice and mint. Simply outstanding acidity and minerality throughout and as the wine warmed, the acidity got even stronger. Well balanced, good fruit and richness, but what makes this wine special is the acidity and the mineral backbone. Very young at this stage and should develop …
