Day 3 after 2 days in the fridge, different face today. CabS nose with cassis, vanilla oak and sweet plums. Better than day 1. 86+ p. Cassis and berry palate, smooth tannins, medium acidity, easy to drink. Very good 86+ p.

Basic wine, only 7-8€ (10-12$) in Germany. A fresh and still quite young German QbA from the Pfalz. St. Laurent is still not very common here. 100% St. Laurent, 12.5% alc. Steel tank and big barrel vinification. Clear and light ruby red with watery edges. Fresh and intensive nose of graspberry, strawberry, cassis, green/herbal notes, leather and caramel.
