Domaine de la Taille aux Loups Montlouis-sur-Loire Clos du Hochet

Mid yellow. The nose is not quite what I was expecting. There is some broad tropical fruit, a touch of peach and a slight almost sherry like note in the background. A bit of minerality as well. There is a quite a lot going on but it somehow doesn’t quite blend together to a harmonious whole. The palate is quite ripe and full, with characters of peach and nashi pear. Altogether not bad, but the QPR is perhaps questionable.
