Fincas Don Martino Malbec Old Vine Viña Violeta

Big and bolder than most Malbecs we've tatsted. After a two our decant, it began to open up, but still with less complexity than we're used to. It seemed more like a Cab than Malbec.

Yep ... improved with a little more time in the cellar and decanting! Notes similar to before - big, bold malbec with leather, dark roasted coffee and a masculine expression. Excellent QPR for the price. Probably good to sit on this longer but drinks well if decanted!

色深，葡萄香厚而纯，有一点微辣，入口有烟草味，单宁中等，后味持久

Great well rounded rounded malec. No surprises.

Young wine. Expression on the nose is a typical Malbec from Mendoza. Very, dark, inky hue. Some tobacco notes. Wine needs to open up. Big tannins on the palate. Very complex wine with expressions of dark, bitter chocolate and espresso. Definitely a wine that needs to be paired in order to settle the tannins. I'll cellar my other bottles for years 1, 2 and 3 to see how it develops.
