Mathieu Apffel Salin et Suave

The nose was incredibly interesting/appealing so I was a bit disappointed to discover that the palate didn't quite follow suit. That isn't to say that it is bad because it is actually quite good. It is just that the palate wasn't able to fulfill much of what the nose promised in the way of intensity and complexity. Although it doesn't feel tired whatsoever, perhaps it was better consumed in its youth...? Either way, this is a lovely and beautifully crafted …
