Domaine François Mikulski Volnay 1er Cru Santenots-Du-Milieu

Drank this half from the bottle and half from the decanter. This is a very confusing wine. I couldn’t decipher between whether it was reductive, fallen off, or the winemaking style. Over 2 hours, this left minimal impression. Almost, a little watered down despite the medium body. Perhaps its bottle variation or just the style. Disappointing

Takes a while to open and show the exotic red fruit, earth and spice notes, higher toned red fruit profile on the palate with a silky texture medium plus acidity and length
