Unlike my last bottle this one was buttery, smooth with enough acidity resulting in a beautiful thing!

Nose showed powdered sugar, floral and herbal notes. Palate was creamy and medium+ bodied. Showed honeyed pear, golden delicious apple with bay leaf and a touch of fennel. Slight bitterness that is pleasant rather than off putting. Over two hours, nose started to show more minerality even a little flintiness. Nice undercurrent of acidity throughout. Not my favorite style of Chard but this was pretty solid. I dont think this is getting any better but doesnt seem about to fall …

It's certainly possible that this was good in it's youth, but it's not now. The fruit is gone with no secondary flavors so you just get oak and alcohol.

Seemed slightly corked initially (cork was dried out and cracked upon opening), but after reading other reviews realized that this may be as it was meant to be? Aromas of peach, almond, yeast. Round and sweet on the palate. Tart, slightly sour finish. Not heavy-handed with the oak (as has been the case in other vintages), but still creamier than other comparable Sonoma Coast producers. Average.

Medium to dark yellow with a touch of gold. At initial opening it had a smokey burnt scent and taste which dissipated after about 30 minutes. . Nose also has a nuttiness, honeysuckle and creamy lemon. It seems like it has gone through full Malo. Palate is round with moderate acidity. On the palate there is butterscotch, hazelnuts, crème brûlée, lemon and just a little white peach on the finish. I think this is probably on a gentle downslope going …

This was lovely and as good or slightly better than my previous bottles. Crisp lemon yellow color with a nice nose of lemon curd, vanilla, honeysuckle and minerals. Medium acidity, fairly rich mouth feel and a long finish. Flavors included those in the nose and a touch of sweeter meyer lemon and honey. Really nice and probably at its peak with 6 years in bottle.

drinking really nice right now. no need to wait. Not the most complex chard and agree with others on the oak treatment...but nonetheless enjoyable on a summer day.

Really nice. A little bit of oak but wonderful flavors of peach, almond, and a hint of citrus and vanilla. Not a heavy texture, good acid, but finishes a bit short and bitter.

Lemon with a fair bit of wood, but not overripe fruit and enough minerality and acidity to keep it pleasant.

Very yellow color. Lemon and floral notes in the nose. Creamy mouthfeel, tastes of lemon, pear, kiwi and thyme. Oak is present, but not much evident until the finish when it becomes very noticeable.

Melon, pear and vanilla aromas. The palate matches, adding apple and more notes from the oak influence. Light acidity and mineral notes along with the oak add structure.

Nice light lemon yellow color. The nose has a smoky oak element that's very manageable as well as some citrus lemon, perhaps lemon curd, as well as a touch of butterscotch. On the palate you get the lemon curd a nice flinty minerality and some tropical fruit on the finish. The aftertaste lasted quite long and is quite pleasant. There is a bright yet chewy mouth feel. Quite nice with a decent life remaining given the acidity.

A grassy/champagne color. Nice nose on opening. Some oak. A little tangy. After 60 minutes, the oak disappeared. By 90 minutes, this was smoothing out and drinking beautifully. On Day 2, I tasted apples. The wine continued to be smooth. No rush to drink. 89 the first night.

From a 375, this had a golden hue with a muted nose of tropics. The palate is deeper and richer than the Sonoma Coast with some noticeable oak. I would cellar for a few years.

I find pear and fig aromas in the glass, not a rich and heavy style, but a natural and crisp one, apples, spices, peaches and roasted marshmallow on the palate, nice acidity, has a slight mineral edge that keeps it crispy and easy to consume, went well with an oriental salad followed with chicken marsala, drinks well now

Disclaimer: I am not very well versed in Chardonnay. I know what's good though and this is quite awesome. Maybe one of the best Chardonnays I have ever enjoyed. It's fragrant with notes of sweet honeysuckle, honey and pretty tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is deftly focused, this shows a near weightlessness on the tongue. Amazing. Some perfect placed notes of oak and minerality, this is fresh and vibrant and never goes pear-shaped. Ever. Tannins are intricate and finish is long, it …
