No proper, blind - dark blue color with slightly paler rim. Developibg Nose is clean, medium+ intense aromas of blackcurrant, oak, vanilla, leather, plume, medicine cabin, red pepper, black berry, like a bordeaux of extreme qulity but darker. Developing Palate is dry with medium tannins medium acidity, medium+ alcohol, body and flavour intensity with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cedar tree, red pepper, incredible concentration, liqourice, deep complexity. Where do I even start on this. Had with Anne and Scott from Cardinale and this was a ridiculous tasting. The 2009 is a massive wine with graphite, tobacco, and beautiful blackfruit on the nose. It hits the palate and just lingers for over a minutes. Powerful and complex. It was astonishing. it different from the other but each was so beautiful and complex that I don't know where to start.
