This was better the 2nd day, but it was somewhere angular on opening.

still drinking well. Fruit is somewhat diminished but still good. Strong structure and depth.

This wine is in a great, drinking window. Dark, Garnet color with no bricking. Spicy dark fruit on the nose with a hint of heat. Medium plus body and fruit complemented by nice spice and long finish. Slightly higher than I like but it is integrated well in this one should continue to drink well for the next 5+ years.

As the night before when we drank the first bottle, love this wine. Such a lovely blend of soft but distinct grapes. Very good. The price point is fantastic.

In a tasting of vintages 2011, 2012, and 2013. This finished #2 slightly behind 2011 and way ahead of 2012. OK bottle for Tuesday night. I was clearly missing some of what other reviewers tasted.

PnP w/15 min glass time. Clear, med/dark ruby purple. Nice rich nose. Wow, I was completely blown away. This wine drank great. Perfect balance, just the right amount of power and fruit. Must have got lucky with the drinking window. Wish I had more, a great everyday pour and extremely good value. Nothing off. $12

Brought to dinner party. Very good bottle pairs well with food. We balanced with just enough acidity. Would be great with grilled chicken or pork.

Similar notes to others, still showing pleasant rasp-vanilla and spice aromas, decent red fruit, very soft and round, nicely balanced but not likely for much longer, the finish was a bit shorter than expected. Worked with leg of lamb and white beans.

Beau vin au bouquet fragrant. Au nez, des bleuets, du thym et un peu de fumée. En bouche, des herbes, des nures, du poivre et un petit côté viandeux. Souple et velouté sur une belle finale sans accroc, très bon.

På et godt sted nu. Savner stadig fadbehandling, men det kemiske er forsvundet. Alkoholen er pænt integreret. Syrah er tydelig med hvid peber, men ikke meget animalsk over den. Har dog stadig svært med at placerer den i Roussillon, den er mere international i profilen. Drik nu og et par år frem.

I ignored my own advice to drink this before the end of 2017. However, it seemed identical to a bottle I had 15 months ago. Nice, fruity nose. Medium body and a solid finish. Not exactly a heavyweight, but it's holding up quite well.

Smooth, pleasant, easy drinking southern rhone. What it lacks in spice and complexity, it makes up for in quaffability.

This wine drinks at a much higher price point than it sells for. The relatively high (15%) abv is well integrated 8n the body. Good value.

Short decant. Black fruits on the nose and palate. Medium to full body, smooth texture with integrated tannins. Pepper and minerality on the finish. Good QPR. This will go a few more years.
