Arnaud Ente Volnay 1er Cru Santenots-Du-Milieu

Reductive and dark fruited, really needs some time in the decanter before service I felt. Nice texture and ripeness without any loss of vibrancy. Taking what the vintage gave I felt.

Not decanted showing very nicely but quite peppery and with some ashy notes (similar to Etna wines). Once aired more in the glass the typical Volnay came through with a lovely base of fruit. Stunning !

Not correct bottle unfortunately

Opened and decanted about an hour before serving by request. An initial funk and reduction blows off to show a wide array of florals. It’s vibrant, focused and expressive showing violets, red roses, ripe black and red fruit, a touch of game and pixelated minerals. However its a little thin on the midpalate and finishes a tad bit short.

Really interesting and yummy

Super tasty. Pure and silky on the palate.
