Still quite drinkable and enjoyable. The primary fruit is aged and muted now into a thick mouthfeel of enjoyable funkiness that went well with grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and salad. w-mom while listening to Kris Kristofferson vinyl and reminiscing about our front-row center tickets to his Napa show back in 2010 and the Black Stallion winery we visited on our way down Silverado Trail from the concert. Stored in my cellar for the past decade or more, this was a …

What an amazing wine, especially when age to maturity. Very full-bodied, cherry spice aromas, went extremely well with a steak this evening. This is drinking well, so if you have it in your seller, go for it now.

Very good QPR for a Cali Cab. Fruit forward, then get some mocha and a hint of spice on the finish. Enjoyed over 2 nights

Very impressed this is still drinking well. Katie and I agreed this even has a few more years left in it if you want, but why wait. Nice nose, legs, resolved tannins, heat disappeared after it opened up and the muted black fruit came center stage surprisingly. Very interesting bottle at this stage. We were all happy with this wine on Katie's porch. 92+

A little sweet for a Cabernet, but still enjoyable. Drank over 2 nights, and it was smoother on night 2. Very fruit forward. Not a lot of depth

Nothing fabulous. Very average. Drinkable, but no depth of any flavor. Everything seems muted. Food didn’t change anything. Plenty of other Cabs out there that are better.

(16/20) Blind tasted. Wow, super high tannins, but they are ripe and fine-grained. Good concentration, quite a bit of oak usage, but very balanced. Malbec maybe? New world I'd say, so probably Argentina, from higher grounds. Medium intense aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, red plum, cranberry, toast, vanilla, cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate, bay leaf. Dry wine, medium acidity, high tannins, full body, medium+ flavour intensity, medium+ length finish. 14,5% ABV - Wine exchange Robinf

Doftar vanilj, fattoner, mörka bär, jag plockar främst upp björnbär. Den har myket frukt i sig och det är härlig kraft i vinet. En hel del tanniner som är ganska snälla och lena. Detta var ett väldigt gott vin!

PnP started of FAR to oaky. With more air and a couple of degrees it shows better, yet a little unbalanced. The day after it was far better and very much enjoyable. This is a fairly sweet wine, not too complex. But I'd try it again after a couple of years in the cellar. I believe it's worth it's money if you drink it right.

We had this at the Windows on the World One Hour Wine Expert, 12 Oct 2020. This was a good wine, but not ready to drink yet. Adding some really fatty cheese made a huge difference with this one.

Very surprised at the ratings here. This didn't taste bad but it tasted awfully generic to me. Sweet, grapey, with very little grip and lacking acidity. Honestly, I'd take the Kirkland Napa bottling over this any day. Feels like I wasted twenty bucks.

Was given this wine as a gift a year ago and wasn’t sure what to expect. Opened after our primary dinner wine and was pleasantly surprised. Wine is drinking well now with aromas of dark cherry and hints of cedar and tobacco. Tannins have long slipped away leaving ripe blackcurrants, plums and a spicy long red berry finish. Drink up!

Medium Ruby, nose is a bit one dimensional, mostly red fruit. Lots of acid, fruit is present but non-descript. A bit Unbalanced and comes across as simple. Tannins are present but weak. Almost an astringent aftertaste. Off bottle? I am sure I had a better bottle of this previously.

3.75 Easy drinking, smooth, and fruit forward. The fruit adds a bit of sweetness even though it has low residual sugar. Notes of ripe cherry. Raspberry, and a tad of welcome oak; you can taste the Merlot and cab franc despite this being labeled pure cab sav. Tannins are softer and acidity balances, for the price this is good cali cab.

Slightly sweeter this time around with added bottle age, more of a run-of-the-mill Napa medium range Cab. Black cherry fruit, vanilla, Dr. Pepper, toasted oak. I liked it better when it displayed the greener notes of youth.

Ripe, generous nose with cherry fruit, moccha, toasted oak. Medium plus bodied, stylish ripe Cab fruit aromas of black cherry, licquorice, coffee, cream. Finishes well, perfumed, layered. The oak is quite obvious but I don't mind, it's backed up by ripe fruit. This is very good and there's not much evidence of a cool vintage. Excellent value.

Very attractive aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry lead into lots of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry fruits integrated with lovely rich smooth oak giving an wine of great intensity and structure which is already a real pleasure to drink. I agree with the recent Decanter panel tasting of Californian Cabs from 2011, which rated it as outstanding, 95 points.
