Drank the previous 2 bottles way to early, Phenomenal depth here, tar, olive, smoke, delicious. Drink window is now thru 2035. Unfortunately I have no more,

Improved greatly over 3+ years since last note. Better depth midpalate with a fuller finish. Overall texture and balance have found themselves. Nice wine.

Lot of bottle variation. 2nd bottle, very good. Interesting, anise, tomato. Long finish.

Blackberry, black cherry, raspberry. Medium acid and tannins. Missing the Rocks District funk but light touch of minerality. Drinks smooth with long finish.

Triple vinturied… A acidic mess really. The nose works but the rest falls apart without food to support it. 1t was a hot vintage, and this is the result. Drink when ever or not

Nice nose. Tart red fruits. No meaty notes. Very minimal rocks funk. Tart finish. Not what I wanted it to be. Dumped my second bottle and I really don’t do that.

Vinturied into decant and consumed over several hours. Seemly light in style and not as meaty as I prefer, this didn’t have the WW funk either . Still enjoyable and went well with a roasted pork loin. No sign of age. Drink now thru 2025

What a wine! On the nose, wet stone, ice cream store, cherry, blueberry, spicerack. Cacophony of flavors. Luscious full in the mouth with long finish. 3rd day still going strong, black licorice really coming out.

By the bottle at FlintCreek Cattle Co. in Seattle. Nose is quite smoky, more like a campfire than the hot rocks smoked earth I was expecting for a Rocks Syrah. There is a slight beef broth note and some dark ripe fruits lurking in the background; it’s very nice. Palate is medium-bodied, nicely balanced with more beef broth, slight kelpy bitterness but also ripe blueberries, black cherry and a dark chocolate finish. Not exactly the overwhelming Rocks-style Syrah I was …

Decanted about four hours. Paired with ribeye. A solid but not great offering from the Rocks. Decent balance, modest depth, could use a bit more acid. A tad chewy.

Deep ruby red. Rich nose with dark peppered berries, purple flowers, cinnamon and blackberries. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Black berries on the palate with some pepper, bramble berries and perfumey. Long finish. Drink till 2025.

I'm being a bit harsh in my criticism, because there's nothing unpleasant about this wine; it just lacks character. It's a bit thin for a syrah, a floral bouquet, tart fruit, and an astringent finish. I have another bottle, we'll see if I like that one better.
