Super Tasting 6 of 6 - Greg's Brunello Dinner (Greg's House - Kitchener, ON) : Nose of orange peel, almond, marzipan and saline notes…..there is a touch oxidative. The palate shows tangerine, orange, minerals, marmalade and burnt brûlée with beautiful texture, weight and balance. The finish is long and complex.

Tasting Dinner Series (6 of 6); Greg does Montalcino (Greg's House) : From 375mL, deep golden colour. Nose has some oxidative qualities, showing a touch of bruised apple, orange peel, marzipan, a touch herbal, crushed rocks and spice. On the palate, slightly deficient in acidity for the level of sweetness. Finishes long, and paired exceptionally well with the homemade biscotti.

Super Tasting 6 of 6 - Brunello di Montalcino with Greg (Greg's Place) : Showing a fair bit of oxidation like a vin santo though far less alcohol (12%) which was nice. Nose of orange rind, almond/marzipan, orange blossom. Palate is not too viscous or sweet and brings sufficient acid on a long orange tinged finish.

From 375mL. Pale golden colour. Aromas of honey, peaches, indian spice, white pepper, orange blossoms, and orange rind. Medium-full bodied, medium-sweet wine with honey, spice, pear, butterscotch, vanilla, and peaches on the palate. Good acidity to offset sweetness; doesn't seem heavy in the mouth at all. Moderate-long finish with honey, spice, and pear notes.
