Quite a pleasant drink still. A good ending to this case.

A good show today, better than last time. Also drinking with a steak dinner, which has its influence. Dark ruby eye, clean, kirsch on the nose, light damp stone, dark cherry notes. Youngish in eye/nose. Palate is medium with good balance of acidity and some tannin, a bit tart. Like a hard cherry candy. It is pretty good now, but I don't think it will become any better, so drink!

Losing fruit, drying out. Left a little too long. No worries, I was out having fun. Drink these and brothers now.

This is why I like multi-bottles of a wine, you can get to know it more. Anyway, it tastes like a cherry lozenge (in a good way), mostly fruit, not much dirt. Full red fruit with a little tannin on the tongue. Won't improve from here, but might get more interesting as it declines.

Another bottle, this one struck me as cherry fruit, but not as complex. Not sure whether it was individual bottle or taster variance. I did taste both over several days, so not just in one event. Hmmm, I would now hold these bottles a bit before opening again, even though village level.

Lovely, well made wine. Full fruit, character, almost light game notes, nice structure and finish. Should develop nicely.
