Blended with 25% syrah creates a balance wine.

Dark purple, ripe plum nose, overly brett on the first day, subsided on the second day, fruity, green pepper, tannic finish. Similar to last, blnded with acidic Melbac to make a drinkable more complex wine. the Bourdeaux have a point in blending to produce better wines than with single varieties. I do this quite frequently with cheaper simple wines to balance the fruit, acid & tannins. BTW this wine was over priced at least triple that normally available. I have …

Dark ruby, Black berry, barnyard, ripe cherry. Pop & pour, mild brett, ripe fruit, bitter chocolate, tannic bell pepper finish. Not any better the second day, brett finish. Way past it's time. It should be poured out, but I am too cheap. I know make Sangria. Second night slightly better, blended with malbec for drinkable blend.

Brett on the nose, Dry with medium body. Brett through fruit to bell pepper on the fairly long dry finish. These bottles are all over the place. One will start terrible with brett and blow off to be OK with some air & another will be a little bretty and blow off quickly.

Garnet color, musty nose. Medium body, barnyard, earthy with hint of bret or TCA on the finish. Drinkable but best when blended with a more oaky Cab. Amazing how it improves on the second day, barnyard gone.

Light bodied merlot based, pretty mediocre, not as bad as previous bottle. Blended with heavy malbec to make a nice blend.

On the first night this bottle was undrinkable, bitter, horrible, down the drain. OK, another chance, improved over the 24 hrs, not good but at least drinkable. Other bottles of this wine while not great were at least drinkable. After the third night it becomes drinkable, bitterness diminished, fruit starting to emerge, body improved, more complexity. I have taken to blending with a 2001 Morpheous which is way too harsh on it's own, resulting in a decent wine where the …

after one hour areation, tannins are not so harsh and allowed the weak fruit to come out. Small nose, mediocre wine, it would be flat without the tannin, oak is missing. Way over priced for the quality, many better wines are much cheaper.

Weak nose with barnyard hint, somewhat tannic/astringent. Similar to other bordeaux style wines from this wine making team. More character than the '04 version of this wine. Overpriced for the quality.
