Gramona Corpinnat La Cuvée

A year on from our last bottle and the same wine at the same place, well three doors down, at Royal Hideaway Corales Suites, La Caleta, Tenerife. Extra maturity did not result in any obvious change. This is very nice Cava, and very definitely Cava. A lovely anniversary gift from the hotel

Green apple, mid acidity, easy to drink， herbal from both nose and mouth, like mint

Very good value for money. Dry with good fruit and acidity, some bread and brioche as well.

My mark could be influenced by the occasion of a beautiful cloudless ocean sunset on our balcony at the Corales Suites hotel in La Caleta, Tenerife and the fact that, again, the hotel gave us a bottle to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Certainly further evidence that Corpinnat is a big step up from standard Cava. Fuller bodied, more complex. A lovely terrace wine on a very lovely terrace.
