The electric Albarino acid test (G-Love, Portland OR) : The nose is highly fragrant and poised with flowing and balanced tones of apples, saline, flint, lemon zest, peaches, white fruits, white flowers, crushed rocks, some doughy notes, and bakery fresh tones. There is a lovely, seamless quality to the tones that really draw you in. The Medium bodied feel is textured and balanced with mouthwatering, high acidity. This wine leaves a somewhat awkward impression. Although very good, it is somewhat atypical style of albarino that most likely will require a year of two of bottle age to fully harmonize or alternatively more experience with this producer to fully understand their interpretation of the grape.

Darker gold in color than I was expecting from an Albarino, with just a hint of green to it, and a fair amount of vicosity. The nose is relatively light, with light pineapple and honey, and traces of slate. On the palate, the light honey and pineapple continue, but the finish has a fair amount of edginess to it.
