Bright, floral, expressive. I'm too tired to write much of a note, and this wine is perfect...

PnP. Surprisingly similar to my note from 2 years ago. Beautiful wine. Enjoyed with Thai Green Curry. Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Chardonnay glass at 50F.

A lot better that I thought it would be at 4 years of age. Musky muscat aroma of funk, flowers and tangerine. On the palate, tangerine, green apple, lychees. Pretty good acidity and liveliness for a 4 year old cheap wine.

Somewhere between a sauvignon blanc and a riesling. Not particularly complex, but nicely balanced and very tasty. Hard to imagine disliking this.

Really delicious! Pale in color, with great crispness and acidity. A little citrusy, which paired perfectly with Asian food and lemon bars. I'll have to be on the look for this one again!

First Moscatel; watery yellow with moderate nose. Aromas all over the board; white fruit, white flowers, rind, cat pee, root veggies, queen annes lace (shout out to E-Rica) subtle pickling spice. Palette tastes green, rind, key lime, white flowers, nectar, alcohol, white fruits, and hint chalk. The palette changes from attack to finish are intense but can't negate the heat.

Crisp, medium body but good acidity, tropical fruits and an almost excessively floral character like St. Germain. I made the mistake of drinking this by itself, would benefit from food and could stand up to some spice as noted below.

Nice, light white with good balance of a little sweetness, medium acid, and some green apple and citrus fruit. Very easy to sip. Buy again: Yes

Nose of fresh citrus with dry notes. I don't rate whites high very often. A solid 89! Only a mild dryness (Secco) and great lack of sweetness with little tart. Thus would pair fantastic with blackened or Jerked Seafood. A better hit with a Chorizo tapas!

First of the lot, smelled stunning. Drank even better. Racy, mineral, lean and focused. Amazing. Will focus on it more next time I open one.

Spanish Whites around $20 (Daniel's) : Luckily, we also had the 2011 of this wine. This was the groups WOTN. Silvery/green gold in color. The nose is deep with lemons, flint and a vanilla (I doubt it saw any oak) quality. A bit bitter. Soft texture. Lemons. Some heat on a long finish.

Wonderful fresh aromatics, some poo pood it for being "sweet" but I thought there was just the faintest hint of sweetness. Lovely floral exuberant aromatics.

This is a strongly perfumed wine that reminds me of an Argentine torrontes.* It is redolent with lychee, flowers, citrus, and herbaceous notes. I second another reviewer's idea of pairing it with pad thai. *For once I might have reason to take pride in my palate. According to this website, torrontes is a cross between muscat of Alexandria (i.e., moscatel) and another varietal. http://www.winesofargentina.org/argentina/variedades/malbec-torrontes/torrontes/

The nose is floral and tropical with aromas of mango, papaya and pineapple. On the palate, this is both crisp and slightly creamy, with flavors of apple, pear and citrus coated with honey and vanilla bean. The finish is acidic and and fairly long. At under $15/bottle, this is a superb value.

PnP. Light straw in color. Pleasant nose of jasmine, honeydew, some honey, and a slight mineral essence. Smooth with a nice mouthfeel and a touch of acid in the finish with flavors of citrus and pineapple. Seems like a touch of RS. I can imagine it going very well with Pad Thai or something spicy...like some Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings (http://www.chewoutloud.com/2013/09/24/honey-sriracha-chicken-wings/) Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Chardonnay glass at 53°F.

Impressively delicious wine. The nose is full of orange blossoms and honey, richfloral citrus on the palate, lovely body, then crisp zing of acidity, extremely lively, touch of bitter minerality in the finish. Great with a range of seafood dishes, held it own with strip steak and roquefort sauce too.

Hadn't ever had a dry (although it had just a hint of sweetness) moscatel before. Would definitely recommend. Went very well with seafood risotto. Rich and vibrant. Imagine vaguely a much richer, more flavorful muscadet. K & P liked.

Like fresh squeezed mandarins with a splash of grape nehi and sea spray. One of those odd wines that taste pretty much like they smell. Delicious sweet with plenty of acid balance and a slightly alkaline finish.

Heavy and fruity on the nose, like a PX, but crisp and light on the palette. A great Summer or Evening sipper.
