Kieth, the wine maker at closson chase has made a good one. Florals with pear and tropical notes on the nose came through on the palate with exceptional use of oak. This wine is smooth, tropical fruit based and has spent the exact amount of time on oak to display its well integration. I'm personally not a huge Pinot Gris fan but this was elegance in a glass, perhaps lacking a tad bit more complexity. I'm glad I bought more …

Clean medium-high intensity aromas of peach, apricot, citrus and yellow flowers. It's medium-bodied on the palate that gains volume and texture. The palate is dry with nice herbal flavours joining the aroma replays and some mineral hints. Acids are clean and the finish length is very good.
