Autumn Sage Vineyard and Winery Aglianico Estate

Very nice expression of a varietal that likely has a bright future in Arizona viticulture, believe these estate vines were 4 years old at harvest. Deep purple nearly opaque in the glass, moderately aromatic nose, palate is dry, dark fruit, plum, black currant, blackberry, violet candies, acidity is high, tannins firm, body medium +, finish medium and a bit shy. Very nice.
