Excellent wine, so glad we waited on this one! Opened and aerated in glass about 30 min, drank iver about an hour, served with beef stroganoff. Great balance, black cherry, blackberry, cassis, hint of cherry cola, graphite, medium well-integrated tannins, medium acidity, med-long finish, just excellent!

Amazing every time I open one of these ... 2 hour decant is plenty now -- this wine is ready to go.

This was a solid wine and better than the 2013 South Hill. The touch of Merlot rounded out the feel and taste of the wine nicely.

Drank after dinner with family over 4 hours. Medium legs, balanced with ruby to russet red, nberry notes with hints of smoke and leather. Long finish.

Drinks beautifully now. Decant or aeration is recommended. Firm tannins. Leather, smoked meat, graphite on the finish. Ripe fruit down the middle. Nicely balanced. Firm tannins thatelliw with being open an hour or two. Drink now-2025.

Decanted approximately 4+ hours before consuming. With decant, it may be starting to hit its drinking window but no hurry. Quality bottle of Cab with all the characteristics present.

Tremendous wine - 3 hour opened and 2 hour decant - opened up amazingly each hour - this wine has at least 3 years I think - fruit forward and still complex. Perfect match for a 18 hour slow cooked brisket over oak wood.

Opened, short decant, served with flank steak. Delicious - blackberry, plum, fig, some tobacco, leather, hint of graphite, a little minerality toward the end, smooth tannins, long finish, drinking very nicely.

Wine was bitter - no traces of acidity or fruit. Likely dealing with a defective bottle.

Was a good wine. Overall the tannins are just too much for a 2013. Packed a smoothness I would want for aging.

Shoe leather and black licorice on the nose. Drinking well, smooth and med -light body for a Cab, or rather just old world style. Nice.

This is a top 5 cab i have tasted so far for the 2011 vintage. Silky smooth with really great depth of fruit. I don't think this has another decade but should provide solid drinking for at least the next 5 years.

Way TOO young. Forget about this for 3 more years, maybe more. Great fruit and balance, but this is going to really grow from here i can feel it. Very well made, but just a toddler.

Great, bold and well balanced Cab. I wish i could get another bottle of 2012 but happy I have a couple other years. Drank with friends and all 4 loved it!

Very nice 80/20 blend (cab/mer) from one of my favorite wineries. Excellent wine. Wouldn't mind having a few of these in the cellar to drink 5-10 years from now. The body is medium/full. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Needs more time perhaps but delivers massive amounts of fruit and vanilla notes. Smooth and silky mouth feel. Huge finish that goes on and on.

First sip I said "excellent BBQ pork sandwich!". Very odd initial flavors but they were very good. With air time the wine started to demonstrate more traditional cab qualities.

On the palate demonstrates the vibrant personality of a Cabernet based blend. It is rich and full bodied, with tannins that have finest but have staying power with a long finish.

had a taste with my Coravin, my friend and I thought it was amazing right now without aging but will be beyond fabulous with a bit more time. GREAT wine, body, nice fruit and structure. I wish I had bought more
